Direct Support Professional

DSPs – Direct Support Professionals – enhance lives every day. Could this be you? We’re looking for people with big hearts and big minds to add to our growing team in Fulton County. Experience in the DD field is preferred but not required. We are currently hiring individuals full and part-time, as well as weekend only positions. All shifts are available. Candidates must have a dependable work history, compassion, flexibility and patience. Competitive wages of $11.00/hour to start with the potential to make up to $1.00 more in the first year. Weekend shift differential of $1.00 as well.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Valid driver’s license and good driving record
• High School diploma or GED
• Pre-employment background screening.

Accounting Clerk:

Sunshine Communities is hiring a part-time Accounting Clerk to focus on processing Accounts Payable. This position ranges between 24-30 hours a week with flexibility of M-F work days and daytime work hours. The Accounting Clerk will work within our Finance department to receive, review, code, enter and process all of the accounts payable while working collaboratively with multiple departments and assist with other accounting projects as needed.

JOB DUTIES INCLUDE:

• Compiles and sorts invoices received through the mail, email and online
• Maintain database of all vendors and customers
• Enters all invoices into accounting system
• Receive appropriate approvals from departments
• Posts transactions with vendors and billing to appropriate accounts
• Review vendor statements and research any open items and solve payment discrepancies
• Prepares basic transactions and financial reports
• Audits invoices against purchase orders, researches discrepancies and approves for payment
• Investigates problems that vendors or purchasing agents have with obtaining payment for bills
• Computes and records changes, refunds, cost of lost or damaged goods, shipping, rentals and similar items
• Prepares vouchers, invoices, checks, account statements, reports and other records and review for accuracy.
• Provide assistance and support to Finance Department

REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Associate Degree in business or accounting preferred
• 1-2 years related experience
• Valid Driver’s License and Auto Insurance
• Must be able to pass criminal background check, drug test and physical
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to use excel and other accounting software to enter and process A/P
